Open the template and find a slide that you want to animate. For example, you may use a slide with a photo, a text box, and some icons.
To add an animation, click on an object to select it. Then, find the Animations tab on PowerPoint’s ribbon. Open it up, and you’ll see an array of options. The star icons on the left represent different animation effects. Click on one, and the effect will apply to the selected object.
From here, repeat the same steps to animate other objects. When you’re finished, return to the Animations tab and open the Animation Pane. Here, you can click and drag the numbered animations to change their sequence. Or you can control how animations start and how long they last by browsing the Timing section.
