How to Simply Animate Charts in PowerPoint



Learn how to use PowerPoint to animate charts in this short tutorial. A chart or graph in PowerPoint is one of the best ways to bring your data to life. In this screencast, I’ll show you quick ways to create PowerPoint chart animation in just 60 seconds.

First, I’ll show you how to animate the chart entrance onto the PowerPoint screen. For this PowerPoint chart animation, I’ll show you how to use the Fade animation option using the Animations menu. You could choose other types of animations though.

Once you’ve created the chart entrance animation, I’ll show you how you can see what it looks like using the Preview option.

Next you’ll learn a more advanced type of PowerPoint chart animation that allows you to animate this series on the chart individually. For this, we’ll select a fancy animation like Pulse.

Either animation type can make your charts more engaging than static graphs on their own. The important thing is that you’ve added interest to your presentation using PowerPoint Chart animation.
